Game Review #1: Super Smash Brothers 4 (3DS)

The first review on this blog will be Super Smash Brothers 4 for Nintendo 3DS, seeing it's one of Nintendo's newest titles and has been trending for weeks.

Summary: In Smash Brothers 4 you have a wide selection of Nintendo characters that you can fight with. The point of the game is to either be the last man standing in stock mode, or get the most K'O's in time mode. To get a K.O you must knock your opponent off of the screen which will be followed by a beam of light indicating you have knocked out the opponent. Each match can have up to 4 players.

The "Awesome" Review: Smash Brothers 4 is probably one of the best Smash Brothers in my opinion. The roster is amazing, the graphics are exceptionally good for a 3DS Game and the gameplay is just great in general. No matter how many times you play the fun won't stop. Even the stage selection is pretty great, featuring a new Final Destination and Battlefield, along with a few other stages from past games such as Corneria based off the Nintendo game Star Fox that appeared in SBB, SBB Melee and SSB Brawl. There are also other modes, in Classic Mode you have to fight through a series of fighters, then defeat Master Hand (and Crazy Hand if your on a high enough difficulty.) There is also Smash Run, a new game mode that has you defeating enemies to gain stats, after a certain amount of time you compete in an event with other players to see who has the advantage, the winner of the event wins the game. Smash Run is based off of Kirby Airride, a Gamecube game that had you competing in races, events and trial city, which is the original version of Smash Run.

Let's talk about this amazing roster, 12 Unlockable Characters, 36 Default Characters and Mii Fighters. There are also several leaks regarding DLC Charactars such as Mewtwo and Lucas, but I won't go into them since they aren't confirmed yet. If you like a game with a huge selection of characters, here you go. There is also a customization mode which allows you to customize characters abilities and stats. (Keep in mind, customized characters can only be used when the host of the game turns on customization.) Another thing to do in customization mode is to create a Mii Fighter, there are 3 types of Mii Fighters: Mii Gunners, Mii Swordfighters and Mii Brawlers. Mii Brawlers are claimed to be the most over powered, but thats just an opinion.

In conclusion, Smash Brothers 4 for 3DS is an amazing game in my opinion and I would recommend it to anyone who likes fighting games, or is just a big fan of Nintendo.
